Already at the hotel entrance one commemorative plaque remind of the historical event:

"Karl Marx who established the scientific socialism stayed here in this house
in September 1874 as a guest of Wilhelm Liebknecht".

Wilhelm Liebknecht worked in Leipzig as editor of the "Demokratisches Wochenblatt".
Nowadays this double room with its view to the Bayrischer Platz is a real witness to the past.
